HANDICRAFT FAIR
ATAG in collaboration with the Ghana Trade Fair Company (GTFC) has instituted a bi-annual Craft Fair. The first of the fair dubbed GIHAF 1997 (Ghana International Handicraft Fair) was organized from 27 November - 7 December 1997, with an aim of exposing Ghanaian traditions in handicraft. The theme of the Fair, "Handicraft: Creating A Global Cultural link Through Trade" attracted more than eighty exhibitors from Ghana and the sub-region.
A feature of the fair is the organization of a conference / seminar of all the stakeholders in the Ghanaian handicraft industry, to amalgamate all policies impacting on the industry and to chart a direction for the growth of the industry.
Christmas bazaars are organized to alternate with the Fairs.
